The Un-Successful Plan to Partition Afghanistan

 (Part 25)

Power Weakness and Its Effects on Disintegration

The government and Republican system which were under the support of the occupiers, due to lack of internal authority, were not able to protect citizens, maintain sovereignty against internal and external threats, or provide them the basic services, such as education, health, and so on. That situation to a large extend was the result of many factors including; widespread corruption, direct interference of aggressors, internal disputes between power-seeking groups, the internal, regional and geographical location of Afghanistan which categorizes Afghanistan almost as a mountainous or landlocked country. In general, Mountain countries deal with so many internal problems, for instance having a very weak and passive role in regional and international politics can be one of them, and they always have a complex and dangerous situation which they receive by the super powers. Their independence and territorial integrity are subject to regional and trans-regional competitions of the dominant and despotive countries.

Afghanistan, in some line of history has had fragile governments, faced turbulent societies, and experienced bitter civil war since the infamous coup (Communist Systems) as well as occupation Afghanistan by Soviet Union, and especially after Afghanistan occupation by The United States. At the same time, lack of national loyalty due to the problems of fleeting governments, increasing structural weakness of the Governmental Systems, made them weaker state and nation. Other factors which intensified the reason of fragilities, were neglecting the real objectives of Afghanistan in the establishment of the Republic System by the West, the formation of the government which was formed in the over-legal conference of Bon and even made the problem twice greater. Since the legal and political order designed in Bonn conference, Germany, as the axis of the constitution, it was not in line with the real objectives of Afghan society, instead of removing the problems, it caused all kinds of crises and could not put all ethnic, political and religious groups under the umbrella of a mono- government in a proper way. Hence, the ethnic and political groups who could not satisfy their illegitimate interests in the government, instead of  assisting the system they started to fully destroy it. Another factor that undermined the legitimacy of the previous government was holding elections with fraud in 2009, 2014, and 2019, which led to the formation of two governments which by meddling other powers, were divided between the oppositions.
