The Un-Successful Plan to Partition Afghanistan

Afghanistan in the Process of Shrinking!
(Part 2)
Contemporary Afghanistan
Afghanistan was attacked by the Mongol army in the 7th century AH, and most of its big cities were about to the point of extinction and disappearing from the world map. This brutal invasion and brutal killing of the biggest cities of Afghanistan exposed this country to demographic, cultural, economic and other perilous form of destructions. The people of Afghanistan showed such a heroism from themselves against the destructive forces and Mughal aggression, that such incidents perhaps hardly ever have been recorded in the history of the world. Because the people, without having centrality, and central government, fought bravely against the enemies of their religion and homeland, and with all strength and capabilities preferred martyrdom over captivity and sacrificed their properties, lives and family members. This self-sacrifice, in the way of fulfilling the duty and in the presence of no hope, represents the highest level of human morality. (Ghobar 1368, 208)
Hootakian
In the contemporary history of Afghanistan, the Hotakian dynasty (1120-1150 A.H.) was one of the honorable part of history in our dear homeland, whose powerful personalities were able to rule all parts of Iran and Afghanistan, and major parts of present-day Pakistan. This honorable types of ruling began with Mirwais Khan Nikah, and ended with Shah Hossein Hootaki. One of the great achievement of this dynasty are the expulsion of Safavid foreigners from Afghanistan and the establishment of the very first independent government in Kandahar by Mirwais Nikah, the eradication of the brutal Safavid government from Iran and capturing of Isfahan, the Iranian capital by Sultan Mahmud Khan Hootaki, and the just and intelligent reign in Iran, the pushing back the Ottoman forces and the defeat of the Russians to reclaim parts of Iran by Shah Ashraf Khan Hootaki. This proud dynasty took the fundamental steps in the establishment of a new Afghanistan, and in fact it was Mirwais Khan Nika who established the new government of Afghanistan before Ahmad Shah Baba in Kandahar.
With the emergence of Nader Afshar, this dynasty was defeated in numerous wars, first in Iran and then in Afghanistan, and it lost its political power during the reign of Shah Hossein Khan Hootaki. (Ghobar 1368, 316-338)
