The Effects of Islamic Religion on Maintaining the Territorial Integrity
(Part 42)
Monotheism
Monotheism has been the first invitation of the prophets, the very first beginning to the right path, the first obligation to the full-fledge or adolescent fellows, the most fundamental principle of belief, which means that God is unique and the One, He is also lack of partners in essence and attributes, as well as worship and creation of the world. (Ibn Abi Al-Az 1426 AH, No. 78). The first words of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at the beginning of the people’s invitation to Islam, contained the testimony of the Oneness of Almighty Allah and the avoidance of polytheism. Tawhid has also been considered in the Holy Qur’an and the hadiths of the Prophet of Islam, and Surah Tawhid has been revealed on this subject.
Monotheism means that only God is the cause and the cause of the causes, and only to know Him as your Lord, and only to expect reward and untying, and to subdue all powers and all existence only to Him. Tawhid has scientific effects and fruits in the life of Muslims as human being, some of which we intend to mention below:
1_ The growth of hope and encouragement in life;
2_ Freedom from servitude and being slave to Almighty Allah,
3_ The growth of the spiritual and mental talents;
a Muslim who considers the rule of all matters in the authority of God only, and considers himself the true solution and invincible power, and is aware of his endless mercy, wisdom and knowledge, is a hopeful human being, and never loses hope under any condition. He does not despair even in the most difficult situations and events; Because he relies on God that what He has destined for His servant is in His best interest, and He is able to solve the complicated work of His servants whenever He wills, and resolve His dilemma, and turn His failures and harms into a platform of flying towards success and transcendence. Such a person never surrenders nor to the causes or effects, and when the situation in the world goes in accordance of his interests, he does not become arrogant and does not forget his position and the world; Because he knows that things do not occur by their willing and they proceed according to the command they receive from the presence of Almighty Allah. Such a person understands that in the universe, one must bow down just before the great almighty Allah, and one must not submit to any command other than Allah, the almighty.
Those who knew God Almighty as The One and believed that only he deserves to be worshiped, and only considers him the Lord of the Providence and the ruler of all matters, will never be willing to go under the burden of servitude and serving others, because the acceptance of servitude and praying other than God is polytheism, and polytheism is incompatible with monotheism.
As Sheikh ul ajal, Moslhuddin Saadi said:
“Monotheist, whether overwhelm one with jewelry,
Or put an Indian sword on his head,
He fears and hope of no one,
Cause his foundation is based on Monotheism merely.”
