Ordering to perform beneficence and good deeds and instructing to avoid the prohibitions, are the duties of all Islamic communities, which not only bring the blissing and felicity to this World and Hereafter along with itself; furthermore, this decree acts as a rescuer to guarantee the benevolence of this world and the next world as well.
The Almighty Allah has said in the Holy Quran in chapter Tawbah, Verse number 71:
[9:71] Al-Tawbah-التَّوْبَة
“وَ المُؤمِنُوۡنَ وَ المُؤۡمِنٰتُ بَعضُہُمۡ اَوۡلِیَآءُ بَعضٍ ۘ یَاۡمُرُوۡن بِالمَعرُوۡفِ وَ یَنہَونَ عَنِ المُنکَرِ وَ یُقِیمُوۡنَال صَّلٰوۃَ وَ یُؤتُوۡنَ الزَّکٰوۃَ وَ یُطِیعُوۡنَ اللّٰہَ وَ رَسُوۡلَہٗ ؕ اُولٰٓئِکَ سَیَرحَمُہُمُ اللّٰہُ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَزِیزٌ حَکِیمٌ ﴿۷۱﴾
The believers, men and women, are helpers and friends to one another. They command good and forbid evil and establish Prayer and pay Zakat (the Alms-due) and obey Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him). It is they on whom Allah will soon shower His Mercy. Surely, Allah is Almighty, Most Wise.
The important factor behind commanding for good and forbid the evil also by observing all its conditions is the Islamic duties to preserve the Islamic succinctness and precision as well as keeping the society healthy. These sutra and verdict have individual and social effects on various social elements; and those are, empowering and reviving the culture, stabilize the justice as well as the principles of religion, purifying the society, avoiding hypocrisies, promulgation of the foreign controversy and reforming the markets.
Commanding for good deeds can bring different people of society together, and play key role to combat the enemies. Commanding for good deeds is everyone’s duties based on their understanding and capabilities, and it means that, by observing sin, transgression or leaving the term of “ordering for good” every individual muslim must take an action by giving instructions to all, from the wise to the ignorant.
We can keep our Islamic Communities safe from the enemies determents, by practicing the holy terms of “ ordering to do good deeds and avoiding bad deeds” and by doing this we can surely protect and preserve our social and cultural values. The Islamic nation of Afghanistan, during years of wars practiced the term of “ ordering to do good deeds and avoiding bad deeds” against occupiers and further encourage the people to Jihad against the invaders. If some people believe that practicing the the sacred terms of “ ordering to do good deeds and avoiding bad deeds “ make some people pessimistic toward Islam, we can never ever leave this “Holy Duty” aside. “ordering to do good deeds and avoidingbad deeds “ lead to the constant and sustainability of the transcendental values in Islamic socity.
