The Effects of Islamic Religion on Maintaining the Territorial Integrity

After the advent of Islam in Afghanistan during the time of the third caliph of Islam, Uthaman Ghani, (the Third Islamic Khalif and the Companion of Prophet of Islam) (may Allah be pleased with Him) the people of this region converted to Islam in the blessed hands of the Companions and followers of Mohammad (peace be upon him), and the legitimacy and the beauties of Islam preserved this holy religion in our homeland. The people accepted the religion of Islam because of its excellent and unique characteristics, and apart from the politicians, they tried to preserve and protect it by sacrificing their lives and properties. Islam is a complete and inclusive religion that has a comprehensive plan for this life in this world and hereafter, meanwhile it is for all its followers from the East to the West, from the North to the South, from the developed to the backward countries.
In the very early days of Islam, there were no borders between Islamic countries, and all the countries were emirates of the Islamic Caliphate. The current demarcations are mostly the outcome of the Western colonial era which are imposed on Muslims. In spite of this fact, if a problem happens to the Islamic Ummah in any corners of the world, based on the divine guidance of the Islam Religion which considers all believers brother, then everyone will feel sympathy and share sadness with one another.
For more than a hundred years, Afghanistan has sometimes deviated from the basics of the holy religion of Islam by some illegitimate people of this homeland, under the pretext of modernism and modernization, or completely denied the religion and called it the venom for the nation. Those illegitimate fellows, with their unwise actions, caused the nation’s uprising against themselves. Those people put the nation in difficult situation and collapsed the government.
In recent years, rulers who have not believed in religion, pretended to respect Islam; However, in practice, they planned and tried to negatively criticize it and introduce Western culture and secularism as an alternative, in order to freeze the religion of Islam in society in any possible ways. Those illegitimate people, who had seen the burden of their defeat, never stopped their heinous actions and did not realize that their predecessors had accepted the Islam Religion with all their might and inherited it from their righteous Ancestors. The enemies of this homeland may have been able to separate some parts from this geography, but the true believers, wherever they are, never ever separate from Islam and always have full adherence to their faith and they do not forget the term of brotherhood in Islam.
The religion of Islam is a living and dynamic religion that has strong factors to preserve Islamic lands and the general unity in societies. The true followers of Islam always plan based on their Islamic glorious resources to protect Muslim countries and nations, and defend their sanctities, religion and national honor. Some of those factors will be mentioned as following:
