The Continuation of the Matter:
Brotherhood
Islamic Brotherhood, which is one of the basic and deep-rooted Islamic motto, is a very attractive, deep, effective and a meaningful factor. God Almighty calls the believers brothers and says:
[49:10] Al-Ḥujurāt-الْحُجُرَات
“اِنَّمَا الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ اِخۡوَۃٌ فَاَصۡلِحُوۡا بَیۡنَ اَخَوَیۡکُمۡ وَ اتَّقُوا اللّٰہَ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تُرۡحَمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰﴾
The truth is that (all) believers are brothers (to one another). So make peace between your two brothers and always fear Allah, so that you may be shown mercy.
When others (communists) want to express much interest in their fellow professions, they refer to them as “comrades”, but Islam has raised the bonding of the interests among Muslims to such an extent that it is the closest connection between two human beings. It makes a connection based on equality and that is in the interest of the “two brothers” towards each other. Based on this important Islamic principle, Muslims of all races and tribes, with all languages and ages, have a deep feeling of brotherhood with each other, even if one lives in the east of the world, and the other in the west of the world.
In collective worship ceremonies, such as congregation, Friday, Eid and Hajj, where Muslims from all houses, neighborhoods, cities and parts of the world gather in those centers of monotheism, this close interest, bond and solidarity is quite tangible؛ and is a scene of the objective realization of this important Islamic law. In other words, Islam considers all Muslims as a family, and addresses all as brothers and sisters, not only in word and slogan, but also in reciprocal action and commitment, all sisters and brothers.
Islamic unity and brotherhood, relying on Quranic verses, is a strategic concept that has the characteristics of reform, anti-colonialism and Islamic unity, in which, based on the divine verses, ethnicity, race, color, division and minor ideological differences fade. The meaning of being a united nation is that Muslims should unite themselves according to the blessed verse:
[3:103] Āl ‘Imrān-آل عِمْرَان
“وَ اعۡتَصِمُوۡا بِحَبۡلِ اللّٰہِ جَمِیۡعًا وَّ لَا تَفَرَّقُوۡا ۪ وَ اذۡکُرُوۡا نِعۡمَتَ اللّٰہِ عَلَیۡکُمۡ اِذۡ کُنۡتُمۡ اَعۡدَآءً فَاَلَّفَ بَیۡنَ قُلُوۡبِکُمۡ فَاَصۡبَحۡتُمۡ بِنِعۡمَتِہٖۤ اِخۡوَانًا ۚ وَ کُنۡتُمۡ عَلٰی شَفَا حُفۡرَۃٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَاَنۡقَذَکُمۡ مِّنۡہَا ؕ کَذٰلِکَ یُبَیِّنُ اللّٰہُ لَکُمۡ اٰیٰتِہٖ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَہۡتَدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۳﴾
And hold fast to the rope of Allah, all of you together, and do not generate dissension and factions. But call to mind the blessing of Allah upon you when you were enemies (one to another). Then He created the bond of love amongst your hearts, and by His blessing you became brothers. And you (had reached) the brink of a pit of the Fire (of Hell) but He rescued you from it. That is how Allah elaborates His signs to you that you may take guidance to the right path.
Islamic brotherhood is created by resorting and recoursing the divine rope (The Holy Quran) and non-division, and in case of division, defeat against the aggressors is inevitable, because unity and brotherhood are the keys to victory and also it is cause which small population with strong faith can dominate and overcome large populations; But instead, differences and divisions cause the superpowers to dominate the natural resources, reserves, politics and the homelands of Muslims.
